The western feel is created by the snare drum rhythm (horses running) and the twangy country sound of the guitar. Maybe the whistling sounds help to create the idea that the cowboy is whistling while he rides over the country side.

7. LISTENING SKILLS - for example... name the instruments playing, name the instrument playing the melody, describe the beat, rhythms, tempo of a piece of music.
8. ummmmm... maybe some other stuff i can't think of at the moment!
